Error occured during the last teamwork operation

We already spent a lot of time in previous threads.

Anyway, since we did not encounter this issue for almost a year, I am ready for a fresh start.

No bad feelings from my end. Let's see if we can solve this issue.

I am gonna transparently write down my interactions. That way we have an exact log. Maybe this can help Graphisoft reconsider some internal structures.

So today I called IDC (we have Keymember support) because of this error:

Ticket Number 3388.

The nice lady on the phone told me that it can have many issues triggering this. I should save the PLN and reupload it.

I told her that I know how to handle the issue, and that I am more interested in escalating it to second or third level support, so we can finally get to actually solve the issue instead of just workarounds.

She said she understands, but can't do anything. I should write a support ticket.

I opened a Support ticket.

Second-level ticket number is: HTL00111630

I wrote that I would love to solve the issue and that I am going to transparently document the interactions here.

I also told them that I have very big news, since I noticed something new!

User M. gets the error.

But the changes from user M. were transferred to bimserver. User G. can see them! This is astonishing!

The second thing that I found very interesting: you won't see that on the bimserver! You only see that user M received, but not that he (successfully) sent changes.

To summarise once again:
Based on our experience, this message usually appears when the server is running low on storage space or was temporarily overloaded. This is why we mention these possibilities whenever the message appears, so that they can be checked.
If the problem affects only one user, it is possible to secure the PLN file and make it available again as a Teamwork project without losing any changes. You have already discussed the exact procedure with our support representative.
You mentioned that the last time this issue occurred was a year ago. If it has not been happening daily this year, it is also possible that there was an actual network interruption or disruption on this occasion.
In any case, you can resolve the issue by following the step described above, allowing you to resume working without problems.
The specific connections to the server and the associated processes between your device and the server should be examined by an IT specialist. They may be able to provide further insight into whether a disruption occurred at that time.

The server has free disk space available.
The issue does not affect just one user. At present, it only affects one project. However, as mentioned previously, several users are affected, each working on completely different computers and laptops.
I can rule out a network issue, as both users are connected via LAN cable.

Your proposed PLN storage solution is not a solution to the problem; it is merely a workaround. We would like to find a proper solution to the underlying issue.
You mentioned that you would report the error to the manufacturer. Thank you for doing so.
Will you keep me informed of the manufacturer's response?
When can I expect to receive an update?
