1)How to paint a wall with 2 or more colours?
3)Is it possible to use paint shades from jpeg image file or shade cards from paint manufacturers website?
1: like a wainscot [horizontal band]?
- use complex profile, OR wall accessory panel feature.

2: Find and Select by material. Re-assign materials one tool type at a time, OR create a special new material that changes in the material dialog to test different colors.

3: don't use paint shades as jpeg. Use a photo editor to sample RGB values from the paint samples and write them into the color sampler.

"3D Text" is an object from the standard AC library, so use the object tool and do a search for 3D text.
