<T>Im just wondering if anyone uses Arlantis and knows if migrating files from Version 1.2 will cause loss of shaders and objects?</T>

You can upgrade without any problems. Objects and shaders will be used and there is no loss.
One thing though. The new renderengine will give your old scenes a pale outcome. You will need to adjust the lighting of your older scenes if you want to render them again.

I hope this helps you.
