Question about output size.

I am using Archicad 10 I have been rendering for awhile and just now noticed that when I set the dpi to 1200 in the photorendering dialouge box I am gettin a 1" by 1/2" photo then when it gets blow up and put on a board of some kind it loses alot of quality: If I change the setting to come out at the largest it will allows it still only gives me the house at 1" by 1/2" and then just renders out empty space in the 3d window. Any solutions.

Oneofhis777, if you could detail the process you're using it would be easier to help. Not sure exactly what view you're referring to, or how you got the image there.
