sketch rendering

hi there
I face a problem in my sketch rendering,I am using Archicad 12 educational version,but when I want to have a sketch render the result is a white sheet with nothing drawn,what is the problem? what should I do now?

Have you accidently set the pen colour to white in the sketch render settings perhaps?

Also check the camera position is not 'inside' a piece of geometry. Unfortunately it will look fine in the OpenGL 3d window so you can't immediately tell, but will render blank.

Lots of things could cause this.

One way to help solve it is by checking the contents of the 3D window, as this is what the rendering engine uses.

Then is the size of your render window bigger than the sze of your 3D window?

The forums have been down for a couple of hours so that probably accounts for the quietness!

Maybe attach a screen shot of the sketch settings.

Possible ideas -

- Is ArchiCAD fully up to date?

- Does the sketch engine work on other projects, or is it just this one?

- Can you open up the project on a different machine and render sucessfully?

- Are there too many polygons? Select just a few objects and try to sketch render those.

- Can you sucessfully render using the lightworks engine?

- Have you tried a different setting for the sketch engine - different sketch and line styles?

- Have you set the partial rendering setting at the bottom by mistake?

- Are you using a white pen set, for use with a black background on plan?

- Contact your local reseller?

- Last resort - Have you tried reinstalling ArchiCAD? I'm not sure of the consequences on the education serial code, so check first with your reseller.

Yes I can,I just have a problem with sketch rendering

yes,but with small object there is still rising problems

yes,I can

I tried all of them but nothing happen

no its on factory settings

- Are you using a white pen set, for use with a black background on plan?
no I use black pen

Bit of a long shot, but does the Sketch show up in your Add-on Manager?

This is getting a little exasperating for all concerned. Link asked for a screenshot, such as the one attached here. Show us your settings by attaching an image like mine. Whether you are on PC or Mac, you can take screenshots - Mac is built in: cmd-shift-4; on PC, shift-prntscrn I think?

Check your partial rendering settings, too - red arrows in screenshot below.

Is there nobody near you physically who can help?

Open the dialog by clicking on the list of triangle arrows. Let us see all of the settings.

Or... try a named style from the drop-down list which in your screenshot currently says "custom".

If the drop-down list has no names, then your style file has been deleted, and we can help with that...

Unless you have an insanely large monitor like Dwight, you will not be able to expand all settings for one screenshot as he has done. Expand as much as you can, take a screenshot, expand the next group of panels, etc. until you can share all settings.

here is more information for my settings,I choose more options but the result is a white screen at the end,my monitor is 15" wide,I used Archicad 11 with no problem before...
Please help me,Im in trouble
