Could you please be more precise about what you exporting from ArchiCAD. Is it Elevation or Section views with the shadows on or something else? If so you may have to go into the 3D Window Settings and turn off the Vectorial Sun Shadows and then rebuild these views. More information required.

<T>Hi all - hope you can help
Brand new to archicad and still working with Autocad
A collegue has sent me a project in archicad with all shading already setup and at the moment i still need to export to autocad, but the shading makes a mess of it.
simple question then is how do i switch the shading off so i can export it simply
thanks</T>

After selecting the S/E markers, find the shadows in the Info box, and turn them on.

You don't necessarily have to open the Settings.
