Reflection on Black Surface

<T>I am trying to figure out how render a cutaway axon with a black background and have a reflection of the axon on a black surface directly below. (The whole scene is floating in a sea of black) I have set up the view, set the background to render black, and placed a black plane of glass directly below the model. The problem I am having is that when I set up the cutting planes, the cut goes through the glass plane below - messing up the reflection. I have also tried with the marquee, but the same thing happens. Is there any way to limit the vertical range of the cut so it doesn't go through the plane also?

Thanks for any suggestions.</T>

Save the building cutaway ONLY as an object - from a top 3D view.

Place the object on the black ocean.

Where 'bouts in Texas?

Sure...no problem!

I haven't tried "boalpeenus" - still acquiring a taste for East Texas/Louisiana cuisine - although I sure like the seafood gumbo!

Ahhh...I get it.

Tried your save as object method and it worked like a charm.

Thanks, Dwight!
