Hello,

Can anyone recommend any good texture packages, or where we could get hold of some extra textures?

The ArchiCAD ones are good, but we could do with a few more.

Just general ones for everything basically . . .

Go here: http://del.icio.us/archicad/textures to see my collection of texture related sites, some may now be dead, but there are a few good ones scattered around. Also do a search on this forum as there are quite a few links scattered around the place.

Moderators - would it be possible to have a sticky thread put at the top of this forum that we can add links to textures/objects etc... as this seems to be a very common question.

Arroway textures are pretty good. http://www.arroway.de/en/index.html

The free previews are often all that are needed if you don't do very close-up hi-res rendering.

Yada yada yada,

I personally make most of my own as I find it quicker that tralling through hundreds and sometimes thousands of images.. only to find that none ot the 200 carpet textures are suited?:x
