    <description>More RAM wont necessarily speed up rendering, but it will allow a more complicated render to be completed without slowdown. It will be even more noticable at higher resolutions. Try rendering at 1600x1200 with lots of geometry and see if it makes any difference.&lt;BR /&gt;

Imagine it's like a larger fuel tank in a car. You wont go any faster, but you will go further!</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I have experimented the speed of rendering work with LW, in case of more using ram:&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Light Works&lt;BR /&gt;
The size of picture : 900/745&lt;BR /&gt;
The best quality&lt;BR /&gt;
Anti aliasing : best&lt;BR /&gt;
realistic sun&lt;BR /&gt;
heaven light on&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
First with 1GB Ram: 10 min.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
with 3 GB Ram: also 10min!&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Regarding my experiment the ram size doesn't help reducing rendering time.&lt;BR /&gt;
