BAD RENDERING

We here at the ArchiCAD TALK forum are dedicated to "better" renderings. We know that we can't do the BEST, but we are far from the worst.

Here, for example, are some of the WORST.

Dwight, while I think the architecture is ... well, not my style, I think the renderings are quite good! They are (partly at least) done or enhanced by hand, and I think the give exactly the look and the feeling that they're supposed to. It is a very conscious and deliberate attempt to lure investors and customers into the project. It might very well be successful!

I know what you mean about these being really good renderings in a way, in a fifties-post-nookular-rat-packian sort of way, but I don't think that anyone really means to make such an excellent depiction of cheese.

If you want to see some REALLY bad architecture, and worse renderings, look for Dubailand, Chess city, Falcon city ...

However, the Big Ben replica was stopped by the Municipality, even after the developers agreed to remove the clock.

Indeed.
Seminar goers will note that this hideous project is the example i use to describe a bad rendering.
But they have updated it.
