Thank you, Dwight! Your critique is right to the point, as always!

I used the ordinary AC sun and completely forgot to change its colour!
I made the model with the intention to render it in VRay, and modelled it according to this. When I decided to render it in LW I just went for it and made the stupid mistake!

I will give it a try once more and post the results, especially if I get your book in the meantime!

<R>This is the best rendering I have made with LW.

I have to admit I am a dedicated VRay user and just a beginner in LW. I made this rendering for an article on AC I am preparing at the moment and I am quite impressed with the result! This is more than enough for any client!

I would welcome any critiques and suggestions for improving the final result!
sure thing its lovely but still i think that the method discussed before about mixing LW with sketch is the most easy , unique , powerful thing you can get , here is a try from yesterday " didn't waste time on lights and materials in LW , no time for Sketch , just few minutes with Photoshop" and thats it !!

i like it

There's lots to say about this that is typical of many beginning LW renderings - particularly about light color. A yellower sun and a bluer ambient will improve quality.

The most glaring error is the concrete wall texture. You're using the old Archicad concrete image that shows its repeat pattern - the number one problem with image tiling. UGG-LEE!

For a better result, you'll want to examine the LW archive concrete shader treatments for concrete color and retain the old archicad image as a displacement shader only. See page 123 of my book for complete instructions.

it would be a pleasure to share a file with a master
but sure just pm your email and what file format u prefer , and it will be there .

They would love your house in New Zeland too.
You would fit right in at Stanley-Joblin & Allfrey or
Now is your chance to move to Christchurch! They are looking for a good ArchiCAD man like you.
