Open the 3D window in a perspective view. Save as, choose Artlantis file format. What options you will have is depending on your Archicad version.

Please add your Archicad version and OS details to your signature.

Just wanted to chime in and say what a pleasure it was to FINALLY dive into ArtLantis this weekend. Deadline looming, model FAR TOO BIG for archiCAD to handle. Could not save as .3ds... Could not save as .dwg.. but .atl finally worked and withing a day or so, planted the heck out of the site with (free) trees from the internet, changed a few material definition and cranked out four hi res rendering for slide show on monday...

That's with having no real previous experience with ArtLantis (honestly, I've just never jumped into it before)..

Since then, learned about billboards, animation paths and am cranking a 1min animation for DVD this week.

Learned about saving all that extra work, changing the ArchiCAD model and sticking all that stuff back in with no FUSS....
