Rendering doesn't work when I import Rhino object

Archicad cinerender doesn't load or freezes whenever I import a rhino or 3ds model: it is a quite complex model but it does seem to be imported just fine into archicad. The problems is that I cannot launch the rendering engine as it freezes or gets stuck. Any idea why is this happening?

What happens when you convert the object into a morph?
