<R>Hello all,

I created a material that has high reflectance and when I check the material surface in the surface settings it seems like it reflects the environment. Now I have placed the mirror inside a hall and when I render with CineRender it reflects the sky and not the real surroundings which is an internal space. Any ideas why this is happening and how can I fix it?

Thank you </R>

Elena,
Looks like you may have a fake reflection setup in the environment channel of the surface settings (Carsten has a YouTube tutorial about these <LINK_TEXT text="viewtopic.php?t=68823">https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=68823</LINK_TEXT>) or you may be using a HDRI lightsource which is creating the reflection

Regards
Scott is right it will be the environment channel which has a cloud texture applied.
