The sun shadow fill is regrettably missing from the settings. It was there until Archicad 10.

<T>We are trying to get the shadows from a colored elevation to be a little darker. I have the setting set so the Fill Uncut Surfaces with: Own Material Colors (Shaded). It seems that once you have this set you cant change the 'fill' color. If it is set to none then you can choose vectorial 3D hatching and can change the 'fill' color. Is there a way to darken this so the shadows will stand out?</T>

Well for the time being it seems we have found a workaround. We set it up with two elevations: One has the material colors without shadows turned on and the other has no material color with shadows. Place them on top of each other and voila. Also by doing it this way we can control the darkness of the shadow.

nice tip Landry.
Although i did prefer the sun shadow graphical picture interface in the SE settings dialog on prvious versions (the liittle sun diagram). It seems now in V11, we have lost this to text format only.

</sarcasm tag> The reason is that architecture is not a visual art anymore it is keyboard based so those symbols are obsolete and since Revit does not have them… </sarcasm tag>
