using Archicad 10, is there a way to take a completed model of an entire structure and create a presentation or video that builds the structure by adding the column's then the floors, walls and the windows. kind of like a video that shows the structure being built.

You talk about "Construction simulation" add-on available free from GS website. Link You'll find from ArchiCAD help menu (ArchiCAD 10 goodies)

Does anyone have a Construction Simulation they would like to show?

Does Graphisoft has one they could make available ?

How about Constructor users?

Are there any examples available on the web?

I made one once but I can't find the files anymore.
Perhaps I will make another one.

Supposedly, yes, though I've never actually done it. As Rafel pointed out, Archicad calls the feature "Construction Simulation."

It's not part of the detail installation for Archicad. You have to download it as a "Goodie" from their website. There should be a link to the Goodies page in your Archicad Help menu.

it's an old goodie that first came out with version 7 i think.

All of that time, and still examples are hard to come by.

There must be some out there.

Once installed, does anyone know where Archicad puts the Construction Simulation within the menus ? Can't seem to locate it.

actually i've seen a product from VICO its called 5D presenter , its dedicated for this , but actually more than just this , you can explore the model and select tasks with specific contractors or sub-contractors , and with time you can see money flow.
