Perhaps this post has something to do with it:

<S></S><LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... ht=banding">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=9971&highlight=banding</LINK_TEXT><E></E>

I know when I've run into Archicad rendering blank screens its because the scene is too complex and cannot utilize enough memory (even though the machine has 4GB in it) to render the scene.

Its a frustrating little quirk if that is whats happening with your model.

<T>Suddenly, the photorendering has stopped doing its thing. Attached is .jpg of the rendering that Lightworks just won't do. It's in Open GL mode.

I wonder if it is not the abundance of brick.

All my settings are unchanged since the last time I used it. All I get is the background photo. It's like the photo has moved in front of everything else. Is this possible? or better yet, I know's it's possible, how did I do it?</T>

mate - you seem to have a knack of doing the impossible!

check that you don't have some kind of fog/depth cue turned on in the lightworks environment "foreground' options?

other than that . . .
It's a fluke -- I restart Archicad and it fixes it.

Back to square one. Now I am getting an error message that indicates"not enough memory to render the model"
Same everything I've been using to do lots of models. Can't figure out why now there is not enough memory.
This might be a corrupted element.

Make inquiries through discrete channels as to which one of them might be taking a bribe from your competitor.

Turn off layers with objects and see if the problem persists.

You can also use the fifty-fifty method where you turn off half the layers for each inquiry.
