    <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;so when i play with the materials options under ligthworks...i only have the option for color. how can i change how transparent the material is? also...even if i choose white as my transparency the material still appears white. thanks for the help.&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>Make sure when editting materials to have the Lightworks Rendering Engine option, (not Internal Engine or OpenGL) then all the shader settings will be there in front of you: Colour, Reflectance, &lt;B&gt;Transparency&lt;/B&gt;, Displacement, Texture Space, and Pipeline. If you are starting with an existing material its probably a good idea to click on "Match Internal Engine" to get started, and then modify as necessary.</description>

If you wish to use color as a transparency metaphor, use the "plain" shader.</description>
