Bug: Intel Mac saves invalid Piranesi file

<T>When I try to save an epx file from AC10 on my intel Mac, the save apprears to work, but the file that is created won't open in Piranesi. I get a message in Piranesi that the file is invalid. The Piranesi file won't open either on the intel Mac or on an older G4 Mac.

If I open the same AC10 model and create the epx file on the G4 Mac, the file will open in Piranesi. I can use this file with Piranesi on both the Mactel laptop and the G4.

So, this is obviously a bug in the Intel Mac version of AC10. The workaround is to use some other computer to create the epx file.</T>

It appears you are not the only one who has had this problem. I am not yet on the new macs yet, but will be shortly (so I hope this is fixed by the time I get there). I saw on the piranesi forums the same issue being raised. see the thread there:
There is now a workaround from Informatix. You open the invalid file in TextEdit (just drag it on top of the TextEdit icon), and change the first two characters from MM to II (for Intel Mac). Save the file, and it will work.
