<T>Please could someone suggest why screen images of renders done in Light Works (which look good enough) do not print very well at all. So much so that we are unable to print and show our rendered models.</T>

William:

It could be the image resolution. Normally, a printed image the same size as a screen image will need a higher resolution (more pixels) to print decently. What is the size (inches) and resolution (number of pixels) of your image? It would also be helpful to post your printer specs, as someone may have experience with the particular printer.

So to be clear, the number of pixels is 3,000 x 1,800 as seen here? If so, the number of pixels should be fine. If this is the case, then a fuller description of the difference between the screen image and the printed image would help.
