I'm trying to apply import an image to use as a material on an object. Does anyone know how to do it on a Mac?

Thanks</T>

Study the texture resolutions in some existing materials.
Place an appropriately-sized texture map/image into a folder in the library.
Reload the library.

In editing/renaming an existing material in the material dialog, simply locate the texture in the library. In order for a texture to show in all three rendering engines you must first use the texture to create a material for the Internal Engine. It will automatically be used in Open GL. For LightWorks, in the material dialog for LightWorks, check the "match internal" and this will bring the texture into Lightworks as well.

Yes. many stages and fairly complex. Study existing materials.....
