<T>Any suggestions on eliminating overexposure? It seems SunObject settings which illuminate the vertical face always burn out the horizontal top of the wall.

The setup is SunObject (20%) + 2 x SkyObject (40% + 40%) + underSunObject (10%)

I reduce the SunObject power and use SkyObjects to compensate but the top keeps overexposing.

Cheers,</T>

Dwight,

Thanks for the reply:

-- double check that you have the built-in sun turned off.
....Internal sun is off
-- double check that there isn't a second sun object
....Just the Undersun per your book.
-- add 0.01 roughness to the wall material
....Roughness: Scale = .1 / Amplitude = .03
-- reduce the diffuse reflection parameter of wall material
....Diffuse = .75
-- don't use white
....Stucco is a cream colour

Basically, my dilemma is that reducing Diffuse causes the vertical surface colour to render as a grey mess, whilst getting the vertical colour right leaves the horizontal surfaces burned out. Would it be advisable to boost Ambient light and reduce sunlight?

Cheers,
