This all sounds like you are having problems with your library management. The dots mean that the object is not in currently loaded libraries - which any freshly saved object is not.

Reload the library, not restart ArchiCAD.

<T>I have been tryin to finish up my interior scene and evertime i add a texture to an object, it places older object i have worked with previously in my scene. Sometimes i my objects the are currently in my scene would just disappear and leave a dot where it used to be. I am having to restart archicad over and over when this happens. When adding a jpeg to something as a texture would also cause this problem. Is there a fix out there for this and if so where can it get it from.
