<T>Does any one know how I can show beams of light, (created by my spotlights in the image) in a rendering. I can do it in photoshop afterwards, but just wondering if there is any other way... Maybe the fog settings in the photorender window?

And a seprate question, that maybe I should do another post for - does any one know of a free utility to convert RGB images to CMYK? My office only has Photoshop elements, which doesn't seem to let you change modes.</T>

You guys! It is on my book on page 67.

Using the Light Cone Down and NOT the obsolete Spotlight,

Switch "LightCone in Rendering" to "ON."

Make sure background is dark since the effect is subtle.

If not strong enough for you, place nearly invisible cones into the scene to represent the light beams.

... and the book is well worth the investment to avoid aggravation and wasted time trying to render in Lightworks.

Thank you for those kind words.
My book deserves it.

I wish everyone on ArchiCAD TALK would get this book. There are still ten, more-or-less who haven't. See ordering info below.
The Supplement for ArchiCAD 10 is just about ready for free download to registered owners of LightWorks in ArchiCAD. You have to get the book to get the supplement, because it makes specific reference to pages within the book that are changed.
The supplement identifies procedure revisions necessary for quick results - all new features remain undocumented and there are significant improvements in sunlighting.
I agree. The small portion I've read so far has helped me improve my renders and speed up my work flow heaps.
