Marquee vs. sun

In AC10 the 3d multi-story marquee is obscuring the sun when I do a photorendering using lightworks. I don't remember this behavior in AC9.

Can anyone confirm?

the lightworks sun lamp object has always had to be inside any marquee in order that its information is calculated within the filtered 3D elements . . .

the marquee shouldn't affect built-in sun/realistic sun though . . .

Curious.

I am using the built-in sun per Dwights latest recommendations and not the sun object, but I AM using the undersun and it is definitely NOT showing up.

I think that explains it.
