There are several possibilites why you have no shadows:

1: Shadow casting is not enabled.

2: You have no direct lighting to cast shadows. Is the sun on?

3: All of your light sources are General Lights. they don't cast shadows.
4: What is the lighting scheme?

More, but need to see image first.

<R>I need advice on shadows in LW movie.
Made a fly through a flat but have no shadows showing.
So all the furniture appears to be floating. It looks great when I render an image but can't find any settings for shadows for a walkthrough...
HELP!!! </R>

Further: what version?

Can you contrast the correct look with the shadowless one?

I'm on AC10. Have shadows enabled and they work in photo rendering.

I don't want to have sun shadow 'cause I'm doing a movie so it may look bad in some rooms - depending on orientation.

The light cones are showing but make no shadows...
And further: They ARE mostly General Lights and my lamps are set up to small cones - just to add to ambient...

COOL, didn't notice before that General Lights have no shadow settings - Thanks - will try again and let you know...
