<T>Hi everyone,

Noticed, in two different files both created with AC10, that the lightwork material settings (decimals) are different (see attached image).

Is there a setting for this anywhere ??

Don't think the marginal adjustments makes much of a difference in the rendering but it would be good to know why this happened...

yes! your 'working units...' in the project preferences. in my opinion these should <S></S>always<E></E> be set to the highest possible tolerances.

remember that <S></S>everything<E></E> in archicad works to these tolerances, including your cursor snaps!

in case you're also unaware - and i've heard this used as an excuse before - it does not affect the accuracy of dimension text which is set under it's own settings. i.e. working to a high accuracy does not mean all of your dimensions will display to 0000.1 of a millimetre . . .
Oo.., you would be suprised how much difference it makes. For instance displacement amplitude factor - for non-porous materials the useful range is from - 0.1 to 0.1. From the other hand, don't you think it is odd to work with fractions to control materials Why this couldn't be percentage? When you consider -0.1 factor as -100% and 0.1 as a 100% it starts to make more sence.
