topic not enough memory to render the model in Visualization

<T>"not enough memory to render the model"

That´s the error message I get when I try to render an AC10 model in LW. The model walls have been mapped with several .jpg photographs and bump maps.

The render window size is 1024x760 at 72 dpi.

Those are not the settings I need for the final renderings, I need to render in sizes of A1 posters at 300 dpi.

What can I do? I need to be finished by friday...</T>

Taken out of the Archicad help menu

Get Model data during rendering process

" Check this box to allow two processes to proceed simultaneously when you execute a Photorendering: ArchiCAD will analyze model data at the same time that it generates rendering effects for the model. As a result, the rendered model might take longer to appear in full on screen, but the process will require less memory."

HTH.
Cheers.
Again, no OS info, so by the problem, I suppose you are on Windows.

Try rendering on a Mac, it does not have the memory limit of 2GB per application as the XP does.

And follow Ben's tip, by all means!
