there you go: the material assignment during the SEO will probably be the problem.

<T>Having a problem with a rendering using the Lightwave engine plus Sky and Sun objects. I'm using the same texture on an adjacent existing building but when I render it certain walls are rendering completely white even although they are using the same texture.

Has anyone else had this problem and did they find away round it?

I've put a red line around the walls that are rendering incorrectly on the attached image.
Same material.

On Monday I shall try rendering it with another copy of ArchiCAD on a different machine and see if it still does it.

Thanks

1. check if wall on all sides has the same material

2. check for overlaped duplicate objects

3. have you used SEO for those walls?

Yes they do
I think there isn't but it's not my drawing so I will double check on Monday
Yes but only on the middle upside down "L" shaped wall if you know what I mean. The "cookie cutter" had a bright red material"

Thanks for the suggestions.

Just a note to say we got to the bottom of what the problem was.

We simply created a new render material using a different tiff file and that one worked fine.

I assume the problem was caused by the external tiff file that was used for the original material.
