800 x 200 pixwels

My point is that u really have to press 3 buttons and get really good render, i didnd do anything with textures, just apply them.

U get exact shadow and lightning !
Only problem for now is speed, but rc version in out for few days and that ver will be how maxwell 1.0 will look.
It will have own shaders, material editor etc and it will faster much faster

Can anyone tell me is there info what archicad 10 will be like?

Of course it is not as good, lacking, as it does, radiosity.

But this 200 x 800 pixel rendering was done on a dual processor Mac in seventeen seconds.

Worth waiting for.

Okay - figuring it out DID take MORE than seventeen seconds. And several light sources. AND more than three buttons.

The challenge was to emulate the tinted global lighting. This cartoon-like atmosphere does not come easily to LightWorks.

It was necessary to "Think like a Photographer™" (LightWorks in ArchiCAD - page 16) to actually see the soft light and color - much like the exercise in the Quick Start Guide (LightWorks in ArchiCAD - page 27)

Am adding this to the exercises contained in the download book purchasers get - will be ready next week.

did you render that in archicad?
i never rendered a final with archicad, i only use lightworks in archicad for previews, and it never looked that good

btw
i use artlantis 4,5 and now trying artlantis R 1,0 for final rendering (before retouching it with photoshop) but i really hate artlantis' editing interface...so not efficient... but it did good renderings and most archicad friendly

i guess this is out of the topic...hehehehe

If I could get my gritty little paws on the 3d, I could test that out on Artlantis R WITH rad and hopefully in less than 44 minutes
