<T>I'm planning restaurant interior.
I'd like to bring some atmosphere environment with warm character from wood material.
But the rendering looks quite stupid.
Cann you please help me?

For effect: no sunlight, no camera light, ambient light 50%
used lamps: downlight for small lamps, 5x sun object with 5% and yellow color, window light for the lighting wall 10% and yellow color</T>

I put this time LW-shader for material.
General light 33%, Falloff 2, as Dwight said.
5x sun object with 5%

The wood looks bad. What kind of lw-shader can I use for wood material, for better result?

Please clarify the plan. Whatever the overlap, I can see several sun objects.

Duh.

This must take forever to render.

Try two large light cone down light sources instead.

sun object 5% and 16%
general light 33%, Falloff 2

and for wood such like pattern?
--- your approach is very confused....

--- As for the wood color in your linked image: that is a lighting color issue. Try intense oranges and yellows.
