How do I save plan view as image w/decent res.

I'm asked to do a large color site plan. When I save a plan as an image file it only gives a 72dpi image. I need a much higher resolution so that I can open it up in Pirenesi and create a nice plan quickly. How do I do this?

I've done many renderings with Piranesi just not a site plan rendering.

There are different ways to do this but since you are in OS X the easiest is "print" and use the "save to pdf" option on the Print Dialog. Open the Pdf in PhotoShop and there you can specify the resolution for the image...
