How do you handle smooth aiming the camera on that smoothly accelerating path?

I usually have two of the objects places in parallel, so that one is the camera path and one is the look path.

I also always work with the Camera Display set to "ALL", so I can see the camera spacings, and if they space out for no reason (as the Bezeir path tends to do).

I'm not sure what you mean by "key camera". I tend to place as many cameras as I feel I need to make the path smooth. I tend to design my paths by first drawing a spline through the space, then placing my spacer object and matching it to the spline (each node has a rotating hotspot so I can align it quickly).

Animations?

<T>Does ArchiCAD have a "Walk Thru" animation tool built in?
Can you define a path and have an animation created?
Maybe an active walk thru tool like SketchUp or exporting animations?

Thanks.</T>

It does.

You place cameras at key locations and specify the number of frames between each camera. You also have options for polygonal (more linear) or Bezier (more curved) paths.

It can be tricky to speed up/slow down the camera, but it can be done. I ended up writing a simple custom object that allows me to either evenly space points or diminish the difference a set amount, so I can snap my cameras to them.
