<T>I am using AC 9.0, just upgrading from 7.0, every thing seems pretty exciting. I have used the previous Sketch engine to v 8.0 for quite some time and I am now trying to get a variety of line colors picked up from current element setting to appear in my sketch rendering samples.

Of course I selected the dialog button in the sketch engine -Photorendering settings dialog window. But nothing seems to get the differing colors I have in my various walls, beams and slabs. I have assigned these object differing material setting and a variety of differing pen color settings, and nothing seems to allow sketch rendering to bring in differing colors from elements as it suggests in the manual.

I have search preference setting in program for setting there that might seemingly overr ride the dialog box in the Sketch enginge.photo rendering setting window, but to no clarity on solving this need</T>

Works fine for me ... it is only the outlines of objects that will pick up the original object colors. Just be sure you select the option shown int the attached screenshot...and of course that you really have the desired edge colors (look at your model in 3D hidden line view to be sure).
Can you guys post some sample images for those of us not too familar with this type of rendering? Anything would help.. plus a brief discription of the settings used?? I will also contribute (never done this before
Keep in mind that there are infinite possibilities with the sketch engine, so these are just some ideas (all monocolor):

Take a look at this thread with some images and tips from Geoff:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/vie ... php?t=2744">http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=2744</LINK_TEXT>

My reseller, Chris Clark, has some sketch renderings and VR's on his web site.

Sketch perspectives in the middle of this page:
http://www.virtualcadsolutions.com/vm_rendering.htm
and on
http://www.virtualcadsolutions.com/vm_rend_com.htm

A QT VR object and a QT movie, and a QT VR scene on this page:
http://www.virtualcadsolutions.com/vr.htm

And, a QT movie sun study in sketch mode here:
http://www.virtualcadsolutions.com/vm_sun_studies.htm
