I exported to 3ds and then imported to EI and everything was well rounded but hte scales was off and the objects had names like 1,2,3,4,.... Which is not at all helpfull.

Any ideas???
I save from ArchiCAD as fact. but don't forget to run the model thru EI Transporter. Run it once normally, and run is a secont time and have it recalculate the surface normals then save as a seperate model. Try these two in EI and see how they render. It may just be a surface normal problem.

If that doesn't work, I would try OBJ export from ArchiCAD.
