Creating fly throughs

I'm trying to create a fly through for the first time on archiCAD. when i place the cameras they define their own path which is completely crazy and all over the place. i cant seem to adjust the bezier lines to smooth and straighten the path.
Any ideas on what i'm doing/not doing?

Perfect. Knew it was something to do with them but just didnt have the camera tool selected.

A golden rule of ArchiCAD:

Whenever working with an element, have its tool active.
