Hello,

I know that it is possible to set a different surface for wall opening by setting also the wall edge but it is not enough.

I wonder if it possible to show correctly a different surface, in the interior (behind the window - red line) would be the same as the wall side, and the exterior (beyond the window - blue line) another surface.

Thanks

What window are you using.

This is the 'Window 26' with default settings, seems to work just fine.

You have an external frame (trim) and casing on.

Have you also got an internal casing?

Barry.

The problem was that i override the edge of the wall.

If i don't override it is working ok, i just wanted the edge of the outside of the window to be Golden Beige and the frame.

Seems that if i don't override the wall and use the casing outside it is doing the trick but i think it is adding another thickness to the window that is not necessary.

Overriding the wall ends does not override the opening edges.

At least not with default settings in the window.

You can't control the edges of the window openings unless you turn on a casing or trim of some kind and make it as thin as possible.

It is possible to control in GDL with a couple of WALLNICHEs if you create your own windows, but I don't think it has been allowed for in the windows in the standard library.
