The latest version of Data Smith can be used with ArchiCAD 23-27, but now ArchiCAD 28 has been released.

I don't think that this belongs here.
Datasmith is developed by Epic games and Graphisoft can do nothing.

Based on previous years, data smith for new version of Archicadu is ready when new version of Unreal engine is published.

As Karel mentioned, this Add-On is developed by Epic Games so the wish should be directed to them.

As per the Epic Games forum "Archicad 28 support has been added to the datasmith exporter and is being tested.
It should be published in January with the 5.5.2 hotfix."

I had a problem installing the latest version of UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_5_3.
During the installation I got this message:
"the specified account already exists" and the installation was aborted.

To solve this problem, I think you should first uninstall the older versions of UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_x_x_x.

OK, but I couldn't uninstall all of them that easily.
For example, I couldn't uninstall the version UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_0_1.

I searched, read forums etc. to reinstall the old version UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_0_1.msi and then uninstalled it.

Well, yes - but if I don't have this installer on my disk anymore, where could I download this old version of UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_0_1.msi? Epic Game doesn't provide it in the official repository. 😕

So, having no other choice, I tried the "atomic option" ! AND IT WORKED !!!

In the Windows registry I found "UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_0_1" in two places and deleted the entire key (and the parent key).

Then I restarted the system and installed UnrealDatasmithArchicadExporter_5_5_3.msi without any problems! 😃

note! everyone performs registry operations at their own risk!
