    <description>Modifications to things like Surfaces only affect the host file, so you should be able to find the defaults in any other file you've saved. You can use the Attribute Manager to transfer the settings by Index to their defaults.&lt;BR /&gt;

If you're wanting to make global changes, you'll want to be editing the template file (.tpl) that you use when you start up a new model.&lt;BR /&gt;
