Surface Painter In Legacy Mode

Hello,

I was trying to use the surface painter in archicad 19, however, it says surface painter is not supported in legacy mode. I am not aware of any sort of legacy mode, and I have created my model through archicad 19 as well. I tried save as it again, but still the same. donno what the issue is, hopefully someone can help me out!

Options menu > Project Preferences > Legacy.

Make sure 'Use legacy intersection and surface methods for model elements' is turned off.

Then you can use the surface painter.
It will also mean you will be using the Building Materials for Priority Based Connections in 3D and sections.
