<T>I keep creating a symbol fill when in reality I want to create a vectorial fill for a stone surface so it shows on the elevations of a building. I have checked both drafting and cover fills, but the new fill does not show up as a vectorial fill. So what do I need to do to get the fill to show up and be available in the vectorial section. Thanks.</T>

It needs to be a 'Cut Fill" under Fill Types and you either create a new BMat and apply it which is the recommended option or for selected elements you can override the cut fill.

Edwardo,

This is not a cut fill. It is a surface/vectorial fill. The fill I have created does not show up when I want to apply it to a surface or override a surface with it. The problem is that the fill I am creating is not a vectorial fill.

Symbol fills can also be applied as a vectorial hatch to a surface. Just make sure cover fill is selected. Try putting a space in front of the name so that it goes to the top of the image fills list making it easier to find via the Surface Settings dialog.

Cheers,
