<T>I am trying to make another surface using the textures on the library of Archicad 21. But they have letters together with the name, like , a, b, c, that I asume means the code for a specific Chanel, bump, displacement, etc. How can I know the relation between the letters and the channels?</T>

b = bump
c = color
a = alpha (?)
d = displacement (?)

I generally look for something similar in the library (new from catalog) and adjust that, rather than starting from scratch, as there are a LOT of settings to go through. The catalog + premium surfaces together are something like 500+ surfaces, so chances are, there is something there that will get you close.

Quite often it is just a matter of extracting the 'color channel' texture, editing that in photoeditor and adding it to the project library. All other textures are good to go, as they are not related to the colour. If it is a procedural shader, just go through the different channels and adjust colours as needed.

The most swapping out I do is with brick textures that I download from manufacturers, they ussually come with a colour and bump (alpha) texture.

r - Reflectivity
s - Spectular

These two have been merged into Reflectance in which you will need to use the Legacy channels I think.
