Person Object Renders as Wire-Frame [Solved]

<T>Greetings. I am putting together a rendering for a client marketing package. I've placed a person object model into the building model. Suddenly, the person model won't render. See the pic below. I wonder if this has something to do with polygon count. And if it does, how do I fix it without changing every 3D object in the model from detailed to simple.
There are around 450,000 polygons in the model....I did do a poly count. About 55% of them are objects.

Thanks, tom</T>

Could it be that the layer he is in is set to wire frame?
Yes...that was it. Must have hit the control by mistake. Actually, have never had the need to change everything on one layer to wire frame. What would you ever use that for....in practical terms. But thanks for the prompt reply. Appreciated.

I have a layer specifically for hidden Solid Element Operations.
When I turn it on it is set as wire frame so I can see through the operator and see what it is doing.
