Works well for us on an iMac Pro. In fact produced some very nice work in a remarkably short time and got our client out of a tight spot.
Production of stills and video is amazingly fast.
Gets better with every update, although still some big ticket items lacking (decent grass [hair] system, and integration with other useful ‘pioeline’ Software).
We were using Lumenrt but support for the Mac was abandoned when it was bought by Bentley. Twinmotion is a good alternative, and the easy application of weather effects is seductive

<T>I experimented with Twinmotion earlier this year, and gave up because it would crash every time before getting anywhere. Before I dive in again in vain, has anyone had any luck?</T>

Works fine for me but I'm on Windows and AC22. Never crashes. I love it.
