topic Shadow Casting new elements in Visualization

<T>Query 1:

I am trying to cast an axonometric shadow of existing elements and new elements. The new elements will only cast a shadow in grey if the element it is casting onto is existing. I have set a colour shadow under 3D document settings to the desire colour blue.

I am only able to cast a shadow in blue if I change the element which the shade lands on to new

For example: a balcony overshadowing an existing site mesh will only do so as grey. If I change the site mesh to new the shadow will cast to the desired colour as blue. Likewise for walls. I can only cast the shadow in blue if the walls the shadow lands on is changed to new.

i would like to have all the proposed cast its shadow in a colour.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..</T>

Image 1: the proposed (shown in blue) only cast shadows in grey.
Image 2: the existing (shown in red) will cast shadows in red
Image 3: the proposed (shown in blue) will cast a shadow in blue if the site mesh is turned to new.
