Unfortunately, no. The solutions proposed in that thread did not make the windows and door visible behind the glass.
It is odd and frustrating, this issue. It has to be something with the glass material and how doors and windows are rendered. The closest doors and windows will render but if there are any behind the glass of the door or window, they just simply do not appear and only the wall hole remains. In my original image it is most apparent if you look at the bottom of the exterior doors through the glass railing. You'll see that the doors and windows simply stop when viewed through the glass.

<T>I can't figure out what the reason for this is, but doors and windows behind glass, when rendered, do not appear. Walls and their materials are visible as you can see, but there is just a wall hole where my doors and windows should be. Has anyone experienced this issue before and could tell me how they solved it?</T>

did you try and update your ArchiCAD to the most current version of 18 ?

A quick test of it works for me. ?

it also works when the wall in front is glass.
At least in the default template.

Try and copy just couple of walls that if rendered should generate the error again.
Paste them into an empty Template file and see if it still renders that way.
Save your original render settings and import them for the new test file.

I could not make it render as you have done. The doors and windows always show up when behind glass material as expected. It must be settings of some kind ?

Thank you for the responses, they lead me to the realization that there is something wrong with our office's template file. We built a stock house back in ArchiCAD 14 to use as a template for all future buildings. When I open up a new file with our template, the doors and windows do not render just like in my initial post. However, when I open up a blank file using the ArchiCAD 18 template and create a simple render test, it works just as it should. So there is something wrong in our template that is invalidating the windows in the render. The question now becomes what is it and how can I fix it. I do not believe it to be a viable solution to transfer all of my work from the incorrectly rendering projects in question to new, blank templates. I'd much rather find the issue and fix it at the source.

We checked the issue in Sasha's file and it is indeed connected to the Cinerender engine setting as we suspected. The ray threshold and the Ray depth settings have to be adjusted.

See the Helpcenter article about this issue in order to eliminate the problem:
