<T>I want to do a photomontage of a cad model. The lens of the photo have three different field of views: horisontal, vertical and diagonal. Which one should I use for inserting correct value in the "view cone" setting?</T>

Maybe this will help:
<LINK_TEXT text="http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guides ... lign-view/">http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guides/archicad-19-int-reference-guide/visualization-2/visualization-extras/align-view/</LINK_TEXT>
http://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/tips/align-view/

Remember that things like lens distortion etc do no exist in ArchiCAD So alligning things perfectly is hard to achieve.

Personally I prefer eyeballing it with a wire model and the photo as background for the 3d window.

Or just modelling the barest suggestion of surroundings and not bother with the hassle of montage, but that is not what your are looking for.

Best of luck!

Thanks Erwin,

Seems like good options but I still need to know what view cone settings should be in my application.

Anyone out there who could help me?

Right, sorry. The camera angle in ArchiCAD corresponds to the horizontal angle of a camera lense.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angle_of_view here are some tables you can use to get close to your lens (24 mm for example is about 74 degrees, 35 mm is about 54 degrees and pretty close to human eye as I recall).
