I've only just started using the Archicad render a couple of days ago.&lt;BR /&gt;
While it shows a lot of promises i am struggling a bit trying to get the right setting. One issue i am having is with &lt;B&gt;shadow casting&lt;/B&gt;. I've done a few test renders and they all have very grainy shadows. Would anyone know how to set the shadow quality up? I tried fiddling with minimum and maximum samples under the shadow casting setting, but didn't really fix the problem..&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>If you are talking about the shadow on the ground from the rafters then does the ground slab have a material that has a bumpy texture with the displacement turned on for that material?&lt;BR /&gt;

Hi barry, thanks for the quick response. the ground material is just smooth concrete. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
all shadows seems to be grainy not just one on ground..</description>
