Glass material not showing as transparent?

<T>Hello,

I have opened up an older archicad file for a project that our office did several years ago. I have now opened the file up in Archicad 16, and the glass material is not showing as transparent. I have been into the material settings, selected the right glass material, and have adjusted the transparency etc, but no chance. Any ideas?

Thanks</T>

Have you checked in 3D Window Settings that Transparency is on?

In my experience a Transmittance setting of 51 or more will make the material transparent in the 3D Window.
Hi David,
you're right.
Mind you, I didn't bother checking before posting, I was referring to previous behaviour in older versions <E>😉</E>
The 51% threshold has been the rule for as long as I've been using ArchiCAD. Perhaps you mean before version 3? <E>😉</E>
