It doesn't hurt, after modifying the selection as the last poster said, to feather the edges 2 pixels to avoid jaggies.

Image cutouts from photo shop have black or white edges?

<T>Hope someone can help!... when making new 'cutout' materials for rendering .. ie people or objects
I cut out the image in photoshop and save as png or tiff with transparency
create the new material in Archicad... all good

when viewed in 3d window or rendered with lightworks engine the cutouts all show a white or black pixelated border...?
I have done this for years with no problem... but recently it occurs
I have pulled down precut images from the web and they work as materials with no edge problem
so suspect it is the way my images are being erased /trimmed in photoshop
I may have changed a setting in photoshop and cannot find what it is... any suggestions would be helpful!</T>

Thanks guys for the fast responses... both very helpful....and have really cleaned up the edges... part of the issue also comes back to grabbing images that are too low quality when rushing things ... ie big pixels create big edges that need cleaning... again your help is appreciated!
